eXidor (from Argentinta) is a solo electronic project by Vampi b. There was where he first came to the musical production by electronic means, using synths and samplers to perform arrangements on his live DJ sets. During the second half of the 90´s, he leaves the dance scene to experiment with sounds, synths and samplers mostly, and working along with other musicians, producing and arranging tracks. http://www.myspace.com/synthnl
The debut album from SYNTH.NL is now available.
Quote from Synth.NL - 'AeroDynamics' is the main theme and also the name for this album. During my involuntary military duty I served in the Dutch air force, where I was a mechanic on F-16 fighter planes. I got quite some education before I was able to perform this task. One of the classes I enjoyed a lot was aerodynamics and since then I have always been fascinated with the aerodynamic aspect of race cars and airplanes. So all tracks on this album are about cars, planes or aerodynamic phenomena related to the theme. The album has just been released by Groove Unlimited (http://www.groove.nl) on the 13th of October 2007. You can order the album from http://www.groove.nl/jump2.php?attnum=6001

LOVE MOTEL – Nasty
http://www.lovemotel69.com
Three years after his critically acclaimed debut album Après le paradis, Geneva based composer Love Motel is back on the scene with Mind the Void. Invoking a full suite of portraits, Love Motel describes « his » 21st century through the eyes of a bunch of lost souls (wasted nerds, repentant machos, TV addicts, sadistic gigolos, former dictators and naughty astronauts) looking for salvation. And while the portraits that he paints aren’t that pretty, his sexy musical performance as well as his dark and ironic lyrics transform Mind the Void into an hypnotizing, beautiful and menacing soundtrack of now. Mind the Void offers the same rich intensity as Love Motel’s former album, but meted out through a more mature and more cohesive sound that immediately grabs your attention. Andres Garcia’s skilful production keeps the tension bubbling just below the surface mixing glam rock guitars, booty basses and robotic rhythms bringing back something from the 80s, although contemporary textures always lurk beneath the surface of Mind the Void.

Si Oliver says - I've been making music of one kind or another for the past fifteen years, and I settled on producing chill out and trip hop about three years ago. I still dabble with other styles of music, but it's mainly chill stuff. I've got tracks released at the moment on the "Elysian Vibes 3" compilation from One World Music, the "Cafe Zen" compilation from The Hit Music Company, the upcoming "Chasing The Third" compilation from Mighty Fat Records and various branded compilations for saunas, spas etc, and one or two other things on the horizon.

MENU : EXIT - How To Get A Basket
http://www.menuexit.de/
http://www.myspace.com/menuexit
Menu:Exit started out in spring 2000 as both realized that they have the same approaches to electronic music. Although their name imprints both variation and final decision the result is truly more than diverse. Mark Wagner and Ralf Pytlik transfer their work to a musical level full of abstractions without loosing focus of the emotional side. Their tracks live from loosely arranged but sharp-beat driven sounds that meander between all kinds of tempi. The tiny details are therefore not recognized at first but are almost the decisive element of their music: textures are chopped up, edited, pasted and combined thus interpreted in a new way. Short fragments of different genres show up and while still thinking where they may come from new elements instantly flash out of their machines. The audible experience in between the tones is the central aspect and finetuned dramatization until the last decibels at the end of their tracks disappear.
Menu:Exit contributes to Digital Gadget/Front compilation release titled "Laptik"
